The Hoc Mai Foundation, established by Professors Ton That Bach and Kerry Goulston, has been advancing medical education in Vietnam and Australia for over two decades. We are excited to announce the 2024 Hoc Mai Scholarship, offering selected Vietnamese candidates the opportunity to enhance their skills through academic exchange programs in Australia. Submit your application by 18/08/2024.

The Hoc Mai Foundation was established over two decades ago by Professor Ton That Bach
and Professor Kerry Goulston. It has significantly contributed to the advancement of the medical
sectors in both Vietnam and Australia by supporting hundreds of doctors in enhancing their
skills through prestigious academic exchange programs.
We are delighted to announce the Hoc Mai Scholarship for the 2024 academic year. The
program will be conducted in two phases: the application review and the interview round.
(1) Application Review:
Candidates are required to submit a CV (Curriculum Vitae), 2 reference letters and an Application Form (refer to the attached file - Application for Hoc Mai Fellowship) to email: cpokorny@ozemail.com.au and hocmaischolarship@gmail.com

(2) Interview:
Candidates who successfully pass the preliminary screening will be interviewed directly by
Council Members of the Hoc Mai Foundation.
The most outstanding candidates will have the opportunity to study and engage in professional
exchanges with leading professors and experts at prestigious universities and medical
institutions in Australia for a duration of 4-6 weeks. The scholarship's value, awarded to
candidates, will depend on their qualifications and the foundation's budget at the time of
selection. This year, approximately 10 scholarships will be available for candidates from
Vietnam.
